Thank you! Sort of. I designed them and had a third party base manufacturer print them up for me.
I later found our that he stole my designs and started selling them to everyone, so they are available now if you want to get yourself a set.

Sorry to hear he stole your designs, not cool. Can you let me know where I can purchase a set if you don't mind? I have them on plain black bases I purchase from ebay.

While the option is there for variants, I think being selective is important. These are $100+ figures, not $20 Hasbro line-stuffers. Hasbro’s churning out stuff like color-swapped Rangers, cel-shaded paint variants, one-off special episode versions, etc. They’re often very impulse-purchase driven.

Armored Jason mostly worked because he’s JASON, the central leader, and he had the armor for several episodes. Zack had it as a one-off. It would make as much sense as a version of Adam wearing the Defender Vest.

I’m sure there’s some demand, but focusing on new characters will get more mileage at this scale than slight cosmetic tweaks.

…Though I myself might cave to a Green Ranger V2 figure.

I think that would be a great design for ThreeZero to tackle. Especially how much focus they're doing on the Boom series.

Armoured Black Ranger would probably work as a PX Previews where they only make a limited amount of the figure.

I haven’t heard a peep on this line in awhile, but the news reminded me I’m still in for more. It’s one case where maybe not having face sculpts might help if they do a Zeo Gold or something.

Well if misuse of public funds is his crime, most politicians should expect huge teams of heavily armed feds busting through their doors as well. Justice for all.

Can’t imagine this actually impacting anyones materialistic desires to own more ASJ-played Power Ranger.
TV appearances will be dead unless he was conned so can go around telling his cool story but, as people are still happy to buy super pricey Amber Herd Mera statues and looking forward to the InArt figure, his Rangers will still sell exactly as they always have.

Our collections transcend moral objections. Acquisition is all!

I personally have always separated art from artist, granted, no one whose work I enjoy has ever done something super heinous, mostly just disagree with some of their views. Example, I know people who were huge Metallica fans and stopped listening to them because of Lars' involvement in trying to take down Napster. For me, actions outside of the music don't change what the music does for me.

ASJ is a person, yes he played Jason, but I don't know Austin as a person, I know a character he happened to portray, so I can still enjoy Jason as a character regardless of the actor's life choices, I just probably wouldn't look forward to hearing about his involvement in anything new.

ASJ trashed the dressing room when he found out JDF was joining the team purely because his name was Jason, and he had a sign on the Door saying Jason Frank. Because at the same time ASJ was using his real name of Jason and now there was 3 Jason's locker rooms ( Jason Narvy being the 3rd ), It was also the catalyst for him to change his name.

He also kept speaking creepily about Thuy Trang post-death like he had been in " relations " with her and whenever asked at cons about Trini he always would say he pictured Jason and Trini getting together. Maybe ASJ and Thuy had a thing going on behind the scenes for real, but it seems weird and inappropriate to bring it up all the time. He referred to Hilary Shepard Turner ( Divatox ) as his baby momma ( a term for a woman who carried your baby who may be with somebody else ) either while she was pregnant married to her husband or like a year or two later at most.

Coming on set and telling people he had had an MMA fight with a guy and killed him in the ring ect

Actors are but one of many elements that bring a character to life. I remember a story of a fan meeting Rob Paulsen and saying “you’re so funny!” and he fired back “thank the writers. They put the words in my mouth.”

Ranger Slayer looks great at a glance. Hopefully we can get video reviews soon, along with a release.

He also brought up a story about how when he was filming in the spandex suits, occasionally it would be freezing outside and between takes all of the rangers used to huddle together to keep warm. He mentioned that as a 17 year old at the time (who could easily pass for someone in his late 20s), rubbing up against Thuy would give him certain "reactions" that he would be embarrassed by but that she thought was funny so would jokingly encourage so she could tease him about it.
Seems like a somewhat believable slice of life kind of story, but also one that I would have kept private and not shared with the world.

Honestly he's always just struck me as a very average type dude who doesn't have much of a care for who he offends, so he doesn't apply any kind of filter or Hollywood tact. If you are weird or awkward, he will treat you like you are weird and awkward. I've met him a few times, and I can tell he doesn't warm up to many people easily.

I have no idea. Technically, both her and Drakkon were advertised as “limited” releases.

The 1/6 scale Ranger Slayer is a limited edition articulated figure, exclusive in North America to PREVIEWS with a smaller allocation reserved for threezero Events. PX Exclusive version. Limited to 1500 pieces.

However, I see the core cast figures everywhere in collectors’ hands. They clearly sold extremely well and were highly recommended with strong word of mouth.

So the lack of anything else announced is a bummer. Obviously, there’s a whole universe of non-MMPR Rangers that could be tackled, but even obvious ones like an Evo3 Drakkon or shielded Black aren’t even teased. I know it would be a bit more work to create a Rita, Zedd, or other monsters, or the movie suits, but the interest and demand is clearly there, especially if they’re pulling from the comics like they have with Drakkon and Ranger Slayer. You can’t tell me the Omega Rangers (or the new Death Ranger) wouldn’t catch a few eyes.

Heck, I’d be down for Phantom Ranger, or even just to fill out my Tommy Shelf with Zeo Red, Turbo Red, and Dino Thunder Black as well.

I could kind of see them doing all the various versions of Tommy since he’s probably the most popular character. I could see those selling.

I wonder how well other Rangers from shows outside of MMPR would sell. Unless they did some villains.

There's times where ThreeZero takes awhile to reveal their next products and put up solicitations. They either go all out from the get-go (MMPR/Jujutsu Kaisen) or release them slowly (GI Joe/Naruto).

Hopefully the line hasn't ended but they may have hit a wall and are trying to figure out where to go from here. They are quite communicative on Facebook so we may get an answer from them on there.
