Don't the exclusives generally ship ahead of the regs?

If so, reg-holders could be waiting another month for their piece. Is that worth $10?

I have to say after waiting more than 6 weeks for Sparrow, the luster more than wore off. That's why he ended up remaining in the box another two weeks after I received him. Just wasn't as enthused after the millionth picture posted.

I'm going through the same thing on Batman. By the time I get it, I'll be more excited by the million pictures of Joker.

Split shipment. Should have had it already but only Sideshow orders were filled essentially in early February, retailers had to wait for the 2nd part of the shipment...which is due now but is clearly late.

It's very frustrating...and I'm certain there was a split shipment for a Star Wars figure recently. Was it IG-88 -- EXs came and Regs came a month later on the second boat?

With the size of Boba's preorders, I would imagine that Boba will be a split shipment... mark my words, guys. There's only so much room on the container that SS buys on that boat. And SS has a lot of "due" stuff still coming and piling up on the dock.

We used to be able to save a couple bucks if we just waited a week or two longer, now it's a month or two. SS EXs ship first and HT figures ship to direct SS customers first, leaving anyone that ordered through other etailers out in the cold.

I hate it. And hate leads to suffering, which I definitely am.

It also leads to being more picky yet again about my purchases when it's a must-have-now figure like Batman or Fett. Gonna have to start paying the fiddler a little more.

I had cancelled my order on this hoping to find it cheaper and tax-free elsewhere, but so far all my usual outlets are either pre-sold out or not much cheaper than SS. Thinking about going back to SS for the regular and using reward points to offset the cost.

This is the one figure I know that if I don't get it as soon as it comes out, it'll sell out and be impossible to get at a reasonable price.

I'm with ya on picking what I want and what I think I want. That's why I passed on the 89 stuff. I only have the income to get a couple figures a year. So I have to be extremely picky.

Ive been thinking this also for some time now. No biggie, because I usually order from SS. But for Boba, I didnt. I made an order at Razorsedge because the same day was a preorder for a living dead dolls set for my wife(also the Boba exclusive is just stupid). So I just made one order. Sucks that Im gonna have to wait longer now, with how they are shipping items. Oh well.

All EXs I don't have. I do use the Vader EX hand for my display... I also dig the Stormtrooper blaster pistol.

I do use Vader's hand as well... but its one of my favorites. Same with the SS pistol.

Pretty cool of Sideshow to offer that $10. I think that's above and beyond. I've been dragging my feet with ordering Boba. I figure I'll just get him from an online retailer and save a few bucks since I have no interest in the ex. And I have no problem waiting a little longer.
