Hello, Everyone
I'm new to the web site and it’s awesome. I'm currently working on the 1/6 Hasbro Sith speeder repaint with working LEDs. I'll be posting pic of progress in a few days. If anyone has pics of your own custom 1/6 Sith speeder I’d love to see them.

I have a Speeder I've been meaning to rework for 2 years now, maybe this will get me going. I can't wait to see what you're up to.

I'm working on one of these too and will be interested to see how others' come out as well.

BTW, Lopie... your avatar scares my soul apart. :horror

Well I just finished a good portion of the speeder. I burned out two 2 LEDs, so the bottom of the speeder isn’t so bright.

I used spray paint that has texture it’s a Wal-Mart brand, Home Depot has some to. Its called hammered spray and it comes in several colors here a few close ups. The spray gives it that pitted look. As for the seat I sprayed it with a different textured spray. I think the seat looks more like leather now. Then I gave it a wash for the banged up look.

Man, what a world of difference! Awesome work :rock

So how complicated is it to complete the wiring? I don't know squat about LED lights, but this looks like a really fun project :rock

The soldering is the hardest part. I think I burned out 3 lights total. I’ll try to find the diagram I used for the LEDs. And I take some pics of mine when I fix the LEDs on the bottom of my speeder. I’m also working on using X-Mass light with refitted LEDs, so that I won’t burn out light soldering. If it works I’ll post how I did it.

Here is the tutorial for the LEDs www.theledlight.com/ledcircuits.html

Thanks Ron. I saw your web page it's great I love the stands you made. I think I try to make one for the speeder.

Thanks for the how two's. Especially for the LED link! It is crystal clear now!:banana

I finished all the wiring for the LEDs and those 2 extra lights made a big difference. With the lights in the room truned off, the speeder lights up the entire room green. Darth Maul will be pleased!:maul
