$120 for a 1/6 scale Reek?

I was thinking about what other creatures might be about the same size as Jabba the Hutt and figured the Reek from AOTC was pretty close:

Do you think it would be cool if SS made one? You could pose it with Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padme, or Jango.

The exclusive version could be with the tusk sliced off by Mace Windu:

i'd be interested, but $$$ might sway people from buying one of these. Reek wasnt as big a character as Jabba is so im not sure the interest would be there.

Very true, but at least the Reek wouldn't require additional creatures or a $200 throne to be "complete." So it would theoretically only be about 1/3 the price of Jabba.

good point Khev!! but how do we know for sure they are gonna produce some other characters from AOTC to put in thhat scene?? we hae mace, but only the lucky people that got the exclusive have the Jango helmet. i wonder when we will see a 12" Jango?? i want his exclusive to be the canisters holding the poisonous worms in the beginning.

You know, if SSC wanted to make this they could entice more collectors to get it if they included Arena Padme (with ripped shirt) and made that the only way to get her. Throw in a chain and I'm down for $150.

I think it's a great idea! I really like big showpieces like this could be (the Hasbro Han/Tauntaun is one of my favories)

You know with all the oversized vinyle figures companies like Toy Biz and Hasbro put out, I don't think it would have to cast that much money. What do they call them, "Roto-Cast" ? You see them at every Wal-Mart. Look at the oversized Batman and Superman figures. Maybe $50 to $60 dollars would make a must have.

I don't think I'd get a reek if they offered. It's too big. Now... if scientists were able to create a new breed of small lizard that looks a lot like a reek, i'll get that.



But as far as toys go, I think the only other giant creature I'd get would be perhaps a Taun Taun, Dewback, and/or Wampa.

I think a Reek would be cool but I would also want a Acklay and Nexu too to go along with a Ep2 Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padme, Dooku, Jango, Clones etc.

I think a Wampa would be much more likely. Once they figures Chewbacca out the Wampa would just be a taller fatter version with a different head.

I'd prefer the Nexu over the Reek but I'd still buy the Reek.

It would have to be really well made in order for me to buy it! I just don't see spending that much money on something that wasn't a vital part of the SW saga.
