I know it's been just over a week.
But holy shiznat! This is one tough course. I mean I can do the work. I am artistically gifted and tolerant enough, but the workload keeps on piling! Why must they throw us into a pit of fire already? I know it will only get tougher. But geez... I figured the first week or two would be a cake walk. Haha! Not at all!
I loved Neil's comment btw.
Okay, so I found out yet another instructor of mine has some cool background. My video/audio instructor played 4 years of NCAA football and took video/audio for the University of Minnesota. He had a scholarship obviously. He then went on to work for CTV (which is his other job, and Canadians would know what that is), MTN, and WTN.
So we took pictures today outside with Canon Rebel XTI's. Fun cameras. After that we'll go onto the vid cams. We also got a tour of the video/audio section of the school. The school is actually huge! It has 3 campuses in total sprawled all over the city. Well, it will have three. They are building a third site, I forget where. Anyway, I was in a REAL TV studio today. Part of our class will be dealing with working in that room probably later in Term 1 or in Term 2. Got to check out a green room and sound check room, or whatever they are called. Hey, I am a newbie!
Anyway, I love my students. They are great. Everyone likes eachother so far. We're all nerds. Thus why we're video/audio, web, and 3D animation students. That's what DMT (Digital Multimedia Technology) encompasses.
Man, and the ladies. So many gorgeous fiiiiine ladies!
Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying their September so far! I am stressin' like a professional here!
Wait, I mean...
Seriously though guys, it is a great learning experience so far and has a lot of fun moments!
