Every Memorial Day I remember both my Great Grandfathers who died in battle during the Korean War and my grandfather who was wounded in WW2.

I always want to say something on Memorial Day, and I always come up blank. "Thank you" would be the obvious choice, but the people who I want to say it to aren't there. Maybe some gratitudes are better expressed without words.
