Most of you may recognize me for being a TERMINATOR or Michael Myers guy but there is a special place in my heart for STAN LEE and the FANTASTIC FOUR. Been into them since I was a kid of 7 years old. Well fast forward 37 years later and a the dream of meeting STAN LEE happened yesterday. Got these beautiful PRINT on CANVAS pictures signed by the man himself and even got a handshake:D

1st is a 14X21 reprint cover of F.F. #1:D I had him sign it in silver sharpie in the creatures mouth:

2nd is a HUGE 22X32 BEAUTIFUL concept drawing cover of F.F.#1. The coloring in this piece is a site to behold in person and i just couldn't resist buying it for STAN to sign:

Here is Stan signing my pieces... What a wonderful experience to meed a childhood hero: The pieces have a thin plastic cover on them to protect them until ready for framing and I just tore a whole in the plastic where I wanted him to sign in case you see the plastic and wonder what it is.

Awesome.

Saw him at sdcc last year.

He's a legend. Much respect for his accomplishments.

He's getting up there, but still a very energetic and lively individual.

WOW, AR!!! That is awesome, indeed.

I really hope to meet him one day. It would definitely be a day to remember. Stan "The Man" Lee. :rock What an icon.

I just noticed that he's lefty!!! :rock

No wonder why he's so awesome!!! :rock :lol

But in all seriousness, congrats AR. Hold onto those pieces.

Who told you he was going to be there, woke up EARLY in the morning and held your place in line??? Now.....just let me have your Endo-arm and we'll call it even.:D:D Congrats bro.

Congrats---where those pieces for sale there or did you bring them with you?

Those canvases are nice. Are they custom?

I met Stan years ago at a Houston comic convention. One of the nicest guys you could ever meet.

Yo AR how was the line? How long did you wait? Was the place a zoo? Wished I could of gone, but has some engagements I couldn't pass up. Maybe next time. Congrats dude!:joy

Funny that I associate Marvel and Stan Lee with x-men/Wolverine and he's the most famous character Stand Lee didn't create. Still it's amazing to meet your childhood hero!

That's an awesome haul, much congrats---I know what you mean about being a "Terminator" or whatever only collector in others' views, and then shocking people with the fact you like it all. I am a huge Universal guy, and usually just post in the horror section. One day when I posted in the Marvel section--it shocked a couple members who didn't know that I liked Marvel.

Anyway---those pieces are great. Never sell them!:banana:banana

Congrats! Stan "the Man" was no doubt the most revolutionary comic writer there was (well, maybe after Jerry Siegel). Amazing how so many of his characters remain to this day as among the most beloved.

There was a LOT of people there for STAN. If you purchased one of the PRINT ON CANVAS that they were selling there especially for the show you were put in a PRIORITY line. I would say that once they announced that STAN was in the building we immediately got in the PRIORITY line and we were in front of him in about 30 minutes. If you just purchased a autograph ticket for him to sign a personal item only you were in for a much longer wait. I didn't hear anything about a meet and greet so I can't speak on that. But I will say it was a very awesome day that I will never forget that's for sure. :D
