Ok, so, Triad toys sells a few differet female figure nude bodies, and boots with feet.
How hard is it to swap the heads on the female figures, or remove the hair, and do sculpted hair instead?

Second question, how do the bootfeet, and coverings work? Are the coverings removeable from the feet? Or are they on there fot good?

I'm particularly looking at the white military bootfeet, and the Go go boots. I like how the gogo boots look, but I don't really think I need the heels.

1.) How hard is it to swap the heads on the female figures,

Pretty easy. In most cases you just pull the head off and pop it on a new neck. The process can be made easier by gently heating the head/neck with a blow dryer. Now if you're trying to put one of the heads available from Triad onto a body that it's not approved for (anything other then Triad Toys' Eva and Otaku bodies, Takara's Cool Girl/CY Girl body, BBI's Perfect Body, Soldier Story S1 bodies and Aoshima's Ladies Mission) then things will require some work.

2.) or remove the hair, and do sculpted hair instead?

This is only as hard as your sculpting abilities make it. To remove the hair, just cut it flush with the scalp then use a needlenose pliers to pull the remaining hair out from the inside of the head. Then sculpt the hair of your dreams.

3.) how do the bootfeet, and coverings work?

Straight out of the box, bootfeet only work with the bodies listed above. Just pop off the existing feet, slip the leg inside the boot and gently push the bootfoot into the ankle cup. Coverings can be changes by unscrewing the sole of the bootfoot and working the covering off. You will then be left with a bootfoot and a bootsleeve.

4.) Are the coverings removeable from the feet? Or are they on there foot good?

Yes and no. Yes in theory all bootsleeves can be removed but in practice is something different. Trying to remove a bootfoot from a boot sleeve could and in many cases, will destroy the sleeve. Even if you get the sleeve off you have a shoe without a form and no sole.

It looks like I can remove the bottom of the bootfoot on the outside of the sleeve without to much dificulty. That's my only real problem as the Stormtrooper Calf armor will not fit over the protruding heel of the Triad toys white go go boots. Ha! this might actualy work. Here's hoping i win the armor kit :)

Oh yeah, taking the sole of the bootfoot off is simple. One screw and you're done. You will have to still contend with the hard inside of the foot. Are you doing a Fem-Trooper?

If you're looking at buying one of the nude female bodies, the A-Cup figure comes headless.

Planning a squad of femtroopers actualy, https://www.sithvixen.com/starwars/femtrooper.html
though I don't like the bare midriff, I'll leave the armor there. Going to do a Ysanne Isard to go with them too. I noticed Maulfan :) my only concern is getting the trooper armor. screamin trooper kits are a little rare. I MIGHT be able to use the vinyl recast kits, and strech the shins with warm water. been told the shins do not fit correctly on the recasts.

I was looking at the acup one, though, i think I may do one of the others. no matter what, I'll be un-****ing the figure, breasts will not fit under the armor. just as well, as i'll be adding them to the armor itself :)

She i s cute, and one of the best looking darth maul costumes I've ever seen if you see it in person. It also helps that she's very approachable, and very nice too :) DragonCon FTW

Here's my 2 cents.

Skip the Go-Go boot and go for the plain bootfeet. It's very easy to create bootsleeves with some white stretch pleather and you might as well save yourself $5 a pair if you're doing multiple figures. Secondly, bodywise, perhaps you should think about BBi's Prefect body. The chest pieces are swappable and made of a soft-ish vinyl. You could simply remove the chests all together for easier assembly or take a scissors to them and cut out the lady humps, leaving the neck and shoulder intact.

that could work, will they still take the triad bootfeet? I had actuialy decded to just use them, and sculpt a covering over the plain foot with putty.

Yep. You may even be able to make back a couple bucks selling the Prefect Body's extra chest plates and bare feet.
