I went with an Xbox 360 wired Controller, I hope it works. For The most part I am trying to play Ghostbusters The Video Game for the PC, and any of the Sega Genesis games on my PC. Ya think it will work?

The vast majority of PC games work with the Xbox controller, for emulators they usually support it as well

Ok so I got my Xbox 360 Controller and it is not working for Ghostbusters the video game PC game or the Sega Genesis games. I had already went on Microsoft's website and downloaded the drivers for the Controller. The emulator that I am running is Gens 2.14.
Any ideas anyone?

There might be a plugin for the emulator for it, or you might need to map the controls to the xbox controller in the emulator settings
I've been trying for so long to get my Playstation 3 controller to work on Steam to no avail. Have any of you successfully done it?

plugin for the emulator? I did try to set the controls to the xbox controller in the emulator settings, Does not work.
Also gave the latest version of Fusion emulator a try, that does not work.Any ideas?

I am starting to think that I wasted $34.55 on a Controller that does not work for the PC.

I've only ever used the N64 emulator which works just fine with the Xbox controller. By plugins I mean that like for instance the N64 emulator had plugins that could be switched out that would support things like different controllers or graphics engines.

Funny you should say N64,
That is the only one that I have got to work so far. Project64 version 1.6 emulator seems to work fine. I just have to figure out how to configure the controller just right.

update: the latest version of Fusion emulator does work. it was the settings.

well guys, I can play NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, and Sega Dreamcast on my pc now. However sometimes NullDC runs to slow, and Chankast runs too fast all of the time. Any tips or ideas guys?

Ok guys, I figured what the prob was with the Dreamcast Emulators. You have to use the + and - keys on your keyboard to adjust the speed of the Emulator. I hope that this tip helps someone else.
Also my snes Emulator is no longer working I cannot maximize it for some reason any ideas?

I think they've gotten a few games to work but it looks like it's very difficult.

The Snes emulator prob seems to be fixed. I just uninstalled it and installed a more up to date version of the emulator.
