Hi Gene,

With it being the 35th Birthday of Kiss, Have you or Sideshow Collectibles given any thought to Sideshow remaking the vintage 12 inch Kiss Action Figures from the 70's? I have Sideshow's KISS PF Figures & just love em!!!!!! However, I have always wanted that vintage look. Please have Sideshow reissue the first Kiss dolls! By the way, Do you collect Sideshow???? I heard you collect Bela Lugosi Dracula stuff is this true???? I love Vintage Monsters also.

Thanks Gene!

Nick

Gene has all kinds of vintage monster items. It would be cool for sideshow to do more Kiss stuff. I don't think the PFs sold well so they might be shy to do more Kiss items

I wonder if the diamond might re-release the dolls from the 70s. They are putting out the Star Trek Megos... so the Kiss dolls would not be too far off.

If Sideshow were involved, I'd want new figures... I don't think I'd buy a set, but I'd at least get a Gene.

I met Gene back when the KISS Fragrances came out. I asked him if there was going to be anymore KISS products from Sideshow and he told me. "Two more generations". I have no idea what that could mean though.

kiss frightens me. :google

i did watch 'family jewels' a bit last night. it was very unsettling to see gene without his kiss garb, getting scolded by his mother. very strange.

I think Gene is all about putting out as much Kiss merchandise as possible. Whether it's from SS or someone else. I think we have yet to see definitive 1:6 figures not done by a customizer.

It's just too bad he's so focused on making a buck and not music. I don't blame Paul for finally calling it quits.

Paul didnt call it quits. He is currently on tour with Gene and the rest of the KISS tribute band for a 35th anniversary tour. :D

Yeah, but he's been saying this might be it for him. And Gene's arrogance plays a part in it.

"Certainly, one of us spends quite a bit of time telling the world that he's the genius behind the band. This didn't happen because of a single person. It is the combustibility and the chemistry of people who don't necessarily view things from the same perspective which makes Kiss."

Well I'm sure Gene's arrogance has something to do with Perer & Ace not being in the band anymore.IMO.
