I just read this a bit ago. It's wonderful that he would do this. I can just imagine how hard that would've been. I'm glad the boy got his wish. Bless his heart.
 
5 years old... I'd imagine that this exchange with 'Santa' will give the parents enormous comfort whenever they recall their son's last moments in years to come. They weren't there at his bedside when the time came, but going in Santa's arms would be a big consolation for them :(
 
Reports coming out that the story is fake as no one can corroborate Santa's claims. Think Santa did this for fame? If so, that's despicable.
 
Report I heard stated that a newspaper had independently verified his story, but would not report for the same reason that Santa had kept the details to himself: privacy of the boy's family.

But thank you for your moral posturing. That's just what this thread needed.
