He was a great artist, and it's sad he passed so soon. I would love some sculpts developed based on his work.

Would you like a 1/4 scale or larger Turner line and if so, what would you like done from his portfolio.

No. Not because he wasn't a fantastic artist but because his style rarely looks good in 3D. DC Direct has failed every single time except for the Supergirl statue which isnt exact but pretty close. Looking at Sideshow's track record especially at their J. Scott Campbell attempt in the White Queen, I don't even want to see them try.

More or less the same. I love his artwork but I highly doubt Sideshow will be able to capture it in 3D

I think some of it will look great in 3D, especially the Hulk.

A lot of it would, my point is that Sideshow can't do it. From beginning to end the Emma Frost comiquette which is directly based on J. Scott Campbell's cover looks nothing like it and came out looking like an overstylized Bratz doll. Their AH! Pieces while some very nice when compared to the control art only bear a passing resemblance, where by default the DCD Cover Girls line looks as if it was pulled directly from the page.

When Sideshow does something generic or only inspired by it usually turns out fantastic, when they try to copy something direct it doesn't seem to pan out. Even the most recent the Lara Croft comiquette which is a spectacular piece and definitely worth getting in all respects isn't dead on to AH! art. Its closer than Emma or MJ for example so there is progression but it isn't dead on and they've had time to work with the styling. I guarantee you that Turner's stuff would look disjointed, out of proportion (especially considering how loose MT was with those to begin with) and not worth the effort IMHO.

It would be interesting to see how sideshow would interpret the different characters. I agree that the talent of the SS sculptures would be put to the test to try and capture the essence of Turner's designs.

Big Fan, Some Projects have turned out Very Good in 3-D IMO, Fathom, Grace. Kiani to name some, would like to see Hulk based on his artwork and the X-men

Would love to see this happen. If they contracted Tim Bruckner to sculpt 1/4 scale Michael Turner statues I am not sure I would be able to pass up a single one. I agree the the J Scott Campbell Emma Frost had a disappointing head sculpt (to say the least), but I hope that past failures do not stop them from trying again. Still curious if that sculpt could be saved by a talented painter.

Now if we could just get them to to a Joe Mad Battlechasers line :)

I'm not a fan of Turner, either. John Byrne statues would be better, if done well. More iconic. As would Mike Zeck or Alan Davis-style statues. But since they aren't known for busty female drawings, I don't suppose Sideshow would consider such a thing.
