A WARNING TO STRIDER RE-DRESSERS!!

I know a lot of us like to re-dress our figures so that the clothes sit more naturally, but I must warn you all:

Do NOT remove his boots!!!

You will regret it if you do. They are nigh impossible to get back on, and it;s not simply an issue of heating up the boots to make them soft. My friends, the tops of Aragorn's boots are lined with true leather, wrapped in cord. This leather was formed to the leg very tightly. Just trust me. Save yourselves alot of trouble and LEAVE THE BOOTS ON!!

Also, keep in mind that the belt and the Evenstar are very delicate. I had to replace the chain on my Evenstar because it broke within the first ten minutes of my fussing with it.

I don't normally post things like this, since I'm a customizer, and tearing a figure apart to put it back together again is not new to me. But the ranks of we who undress/ re-dress a figure are growing, and I wanted all my fellow collectors to be forewarned.

He doesn't exist anymore. My three DiD figures got chop-shopped a loooong time ago.

So, how do you fix the fact that his leggings/pants bunch up around where his legs meet his boots? I was planning to take a stab at removing his boots to tuck the pants in more . . .

Maybe you could gather up the excess and move it up towards his crotch (no jokes now) and then rubberband it in place... that way it would gather around his boots and you'd never see it through the layers.
