I can see the beginnnings of a likeness, but a lot of work to do.

Also, I would have thought a real cloth hat would look better

ya, I don't see much resemblance at all. A real knit cap would also be more sensible in my opinion as well.

My wife and I both see Will Smith in that sculpt and have you ever seen a knit cap at that scale? They look ridiculous. I think you have done an awesome job, friend. Plus why would a sculptor knit a hat?

they're not strictly sculptors, they make full figs. I just don't see Will, that's my opinion.

and you are right,
I dont knit...

besides, it is hard to find a fabric wont end up a huge head...

also even if I find a exact scaled down fabric
the red stripe and eagle is still a big issue
