sculpt's not 100%, and paint needs work, but a definite improvement over the CO version.

Hmmmmm.... Paint job is nice but I don't see David Tennant in there at all. (I actually prefer the CO version hands down. Have you seen a Les Walker repaint of that head?)

I agree, I'd have to give it a thumbs down. Kind of looks like his eyes, nose and mouth are too squished together for the size of his face.

Seconded. The CO on is really good, imo. The only thing lacking is the hair, but that's nothing a dremel and some sculpy can't fix.

To me, Ada's version looks more like Ianto Jones from Torchwood than like Tennant. It isn't a perfect match, but maybe you could salvage the headsculpt by re-naming it "Ianto" instead?

As pixeltwin mentioned, a repaint can make all the difference. If you're considering repainting the CO head, here is a pic of the CO head with a repaint by Les Walker.

That gorgeous TARDIS of yours deserves a good-looking figure to stand in front of it.

She has had some decent sculpts but just like you said most of them are seriosuly off.

I've bought a bunch of the Ada sculpts over the past few years and some are really really good and some are just awful. Of the ones I have from her, the best ones are Charlie from Lost, the Smallville Lex Luther (the face is maybe a little too thin, but it really looks like him to me) and the boys from Supernatural. The thing she does that I hate the most is send a cast from a bad mold. The Lance Henrikson sculpt looks ok in the pictures, but the actual cast is completely messed up. That is seriously not cool.

On the subject of her Tennant sculpt, I am glad to see it painted up, but I have to agree it looks way more like Conan O'Brien than Doctor Ten. I've done my own repaint of the CO head and aside from the way-too-serious expression, it is a fabulous likeness.

The hair sculpt looks OK on the Ada one (could maybe do with being a little bigger) but the face just doesn't do it for me.The CO one is actually very good, but he has that strange 1000 yard stare!
That Les repaint looks masterful!

I just realized-the Ada sculpt reminds me more of Harry Sullivan!
