Adding insert to custom sculpt

Bought a very nice custom sculpt, but head is drilled too big for insert, anyone know what to use to fill sculpt just enough to add insert for hot toys body?

Was looking for something a little more permanent so I can move head around, preferably resin or clay?

You should look at some epoxy putties. I use this brand:
Henkel - Loctite 2 OZ Multi-Purpose Epoxy Repair Putty 2 Part Adhesive Consisti #TV108540
Very easy to use to fill gaps and body mods.

Hot glue.

Rub some Vaseline on the ball socket, put a little hot glue in the head cavity then insert the ball. Once the hot glue sets, the ball will pull out (or trim if necessary) and it's a great fit with good tension without floppyness.
