I picked up Sideshow's Wolverine sixth scale and, like many on this forum, he had a small paint defect on his cowl--the edge of the cowl is fleshtone where it should be black.

I've never customized or touched up a figure before so I was hoping I could get some advice on how I might touch up this spot to fill in the black. Not really sure what kind of paint, etc. would be appropriate.

Alternatively I may seek a replacement from Sideshow.

Acrylic paint should fit the bill. Get a small pointed brush and apply thin layers of paint, allowing the color to build up little by little.

The hardest part is finding an exact color match but since you need to paint it black, it should be an easy fix.
