I would say notify SS and let them deal with it if they choose to. I don't think posters here need to be the "recast police". These knockoffs won't lower the price of the real thing because they are not nearly as quality as SS's ( paint aps suck ).

By the proper people and those people are not the posters on this board. The auction itself draws attention to the fact that it's a fake. Again, I said notify SS if you like. That is taking action and it's then up to SS to do what they want with the info. It's not up to people here to seek legal action or go on the attack.

Go to the very bottom of the page and click "Report this Item"
Choose "Counterfeit and copyright violations"
Choose "Potential trademark infringement"
Choose "Other replica or counterfeit items"
Click "Continue"
IMPORTANT- Now you must click "Email us" under Contact Customer Support
You may need to log in to ebay here if you aren't already
The item number will already be filled in so just hit "Send"
Thats it!

Do this on every item you see that is fake and we can make a difference. The more people who do this the better chance it will be taken down.

you can attempt to have the auction pulled. but if the guy says it's a recast, he's not misleading people. and if you contact ss, most likely nothing will be done about it like the first wave of counterfeit im comiquettes.

EXACTLY! The way to deal with things like this is to use the ebay system to take action. Not to sit around and "let someone else deal with it."

I've quoted his post to address yours. First, he's calling the seller an "ass", is talking about going to eBay to "tell" on him and wants the seller banned from eBay. The seller is being honest in his auction even though the product is "illegal"> He's not trying to scam anyone. He's recasting and should be reported to SS....not eBay IMO.

My advice was to notify the parent company of the REAL product and allow them to do as they please since it's THIER product the seller is recasting so no, he's not doing as I suggested as you are trying to imply he is.

And yes, I'd say you're being a pansy by saying that I am attacking anyone by saying you should report it to SS and leave it to them.

Are you for real. Alot of collectors of SS product hang out here. As well as notifying SS by posting this thread I am also making fellow collectors know that there are ^^^^^^^s "RECASTING ILLEGALLY" licensed products which in no way can be justifed. SO WHAT if he is being truthful in his description. He is still selling illegal product.
