Bill Hunt is saying that the Blu Ray Alien collection's limited edition "Egg Statue" packaging is designed by Sideshow Toys - is this true? I haven't heard a thing from Sideshow about this ... normally, they are big on promoting things like this. Here are some live pics:

Looks nice - especially for only 49.99 over the current best price for the regular Blu set. Anyone else have any info on the sculpt/ Sideshow Involvement?

Yes the statue is made by Sideshow, but the price isn't $49.99 it's $149.99 as of now it may drop closer to the release date.

I meant 49.99 for the Statue added on to the Blu-Ray set price (since you can pre-order the standard Blu set off Amazon for around 100 dollars). Sorry for any confusion on price.

I'll be just buying the regular release. Every dvd boxset I've bought with some type of bust and statue connected always end up sucking.

The Optimus Prime Mini-head from the RotF box-set was pretty cool, that and the $50 Sideshow giftcard were the only reason I bought it.

This one looks like the kind of thing that would be a $150 statue on its own if sold by Sideshow. I think I'm pulling the trigger.

I'm on the fence as to the version I'm gonna get, the statue is really cool and all but I just don't know if I can afford it.

Just to give you guys a heads up https://www.foxconnect.com/ charges your card right away for this set!:eek :google:monkey4

No...it does not.

That's where I ordered my set from.

You're pre-charged, to ensure you have the funds in your account.

But, this pre-charge goes away after a couple of days.

Your card is not charged until the item ships.

Please have your facts straight before you post something like that.
