I just saw this movie today. It was pretty good. It was 106 minutes but it moved a little faster than Gravity IMO. I liked the ending. Based on the reviews, if you're nitpicky about sailor etiquette then you may not like it. I found it very interesting and engaging.

I am really looking forward to this, comes out in the UK this coming Friday. Hopefully I can catch this and 12 Years A Slave this Friday :)

A really good film from start to finish. For a film that doesn't 'say a lot'', it managed to keep me fully engaged.

Robert Redford turns in a subtly, brilliant performance!

I give it an 8/10

The only downside which prevented me from giving it a higher score........was the end. I would have preferred to have seen the end finish about 5-10 minutes before it did. The end felt like a cliche cop-out and didn't really fit with the tone of the entire film. I think the most favorable ending, befitting the tone of the movie, would have been 'him' sitting there contemplating the end. I think it should have been left to the viewer as to whether he survives or not.
