I got the Cockrum style Cyclops today. Great for what it is but I'm not sure this style of figure is for me.

Got Cyclops, Gambit, and Magneto earlier this week. I ordered Rogue from Mondo as well, but it appears she won't be shipping until the end of the month, despite the "Back in Stock" tag. :(

Have only had a chance to play with Cyclops and Gambit. It's been rainy and cloudy for the past few days, so once the clouds started to go away so I was able to get a decent pic.

Gambit did come with the card-shuffling hands, so I posed him with those. It's a bit frustrating because the restricted articulation prevents me from getting the right angles to get the cards aligned. It looks like Gambit screwed up his shuffle, and we can't be having that!

I haven't really messed with the other accessories because the joints/sockets are incredibly, frustratingly tight!!

Even with a blowdryer, I tried to aim the heat at the arms, because I was afraid the hands would get too soft, and I would rip the hand off the joint trying to pull them out. And when I did manage to pull the hand out of Gambit's arm, the actual socket stayed stuck on the wrist peg, so I had to pull the socket off the wrist peg and stick it back in the arm hole.

Either way, changing out the multiple heads and hands is a pain, and I don't plan on doing it often.

Cyclops is a lot of fun, despite the same articulation and hard plastic issues with Gambit. I got the exclusive with the jacket, so I put that on him, with the "casual" head with the glasses, trying to go for a li'l X-Men vs Street Fighter win pose. I feel like the head, at least the casual head, is a bit too small. It doesn't sit on the neck peg properly.

Cyclops (Exclusive) in particular, comes with a ton of accessories, so they feel like good values. I'm not sure if it was an exclusive accessory or not, but there is one extra visored head that isn't pictured in either version. I have a casual head, visored head with normal visor, visored head with 'spark' visor, yelling visored head, and the android head. I have enough extra parts that I'm tempted to get a second figure because it's such a pain to switch out parts, it would be easier to just have a secondary figure with an alternate look.

I'm probably going to regret missing out on the Ex Rogue, since I've got a 'casual' vibe to my current X-Men, so that winking head would fit right in with my current set-up, but alas, you can't always get what you want.

I'm starting to be able to picture this whole shelf fleshed out with Storm and Beast ... and hopefully Jean Grey, and the big kahuna, Professor X. That hoverchair would be enormous, I'm not sure how feasible that will be in 1/6. Either way, I'm looking forward to rounding out this team.

Definitely pick up the Jubilee as well if you haven't done so. It's a great figure too.

I suppose I'm starting to see things from the viewpoint of the Ghostbusters collectors that decided not to buy Zeddemore.

I want to limit myself to what I'm collecting, and if I buy Jubilee, it chips away at my logic for what I want to collect and all of a sudden I'll be buying Sabretooth, and then splurging on Omega Red ... and that's just not what I want to do.

I applied this limitation for myself to the Mondo X-Men before..
But after I unboxed a few of them, I decided to stop collecting the 1/12 Hasbro and just focus on completing this 1/6 animated series line up.
Just looking at them lined up together, I remember the good ol times.
This will be the X-Men animated display for me.

And somehow I have faith that Mondo will make all the core members, the good guys and bad guys.
Assuming World War III doesn't wipe us all out..
