So after Ramen Toy tried in vain to get the M.A.S.K. license, by Hasbro (who swallowed Kenner, back in the day), The Loyal Subjects
are the winner in this and at this year's New York Toy Fair they will officially reveal the all new M.A.S.K. line.

First teaser pics show better masks and blast effects for:
- Thunderhawk
- Switchblade
- Condor
- Rhino

Thoughts, my fellow freaks?

My younger brothers had a ton of these back in the day. I was more into Joes back then, but M.A.S.K. was a pretty cool toy line back in the 80s. Sadly, most of these never survived the punishment that was inflicted by the amount of Evel Knievel stunts that they went through on a daily basis. If only we knew back then how valuable these toys would become :slap

Big time, yeah.
Europe and especially Germany has an extremely loyal collector base to this.
My best friend actually collected and reworked a full collection.
Bought multiple collections, took what he could, rebuild what he wanted
and sold the rest and repeat, until it was complete.
Good stuff.

Time and dedication right there, but so rewarding once accomplished 🍻

I had a bunch of the toys in the 80s. Still got a few in storage. I’ve got both Ramen offerings and they’re nice but I’m really excited to see what these licensed toys will be like.
Ramen chose to scale up a bit and I think they’re the perfect size. I wonder how big these will be.

EDIT: Just found them on IG and it looks like they’ll scale with the original line. I have no idea who The Loyal Subjects are or what their quality is like. I hope they do it right.

From my understanding these will be faithful to the old toys but with some tweaks.

I liked the Ramen Toy Gull Wing but i missed out on it - that seemed more like a more modern take on the original toy.

I still have quite a few from my childhood. The Joes are what didn’t survive my house.

I'm not really sure about that approach. The original toys were already pretty good for what they were. I guess more articulation?

I would prefer these in GI Joe scale (3 3/4") O-ring versions. Or even classified-scaled figures, though I don't collect those.

It's funny that about a week ago I had a dream where I found someone selling old MASK figures from the '80s that were massively scaled like the Centurions. Not sure where that came from, but I would be all in with that, as well!

Nothing survived my house. All the old Joes got busted up too by my younger bros, but mostly by their friends that came over to play. A real shame too cause I had all the originals in fantastic shape, but everything was handed down, so nothing stayed in good condition.

I believe they are the manufacturers of the BST AXN line, I've seen some of their stuff at Wal-Mart in the Video Game/Electronics aisle. They just seem like your standard mid-range, 5-inch action figure. They aren't in the toy aisles, so I'm guessing they position themselves as higher-quality than "mass market" toys, but we're talking the difference between a $15 figure and a $20 figure, so it's not much.
