I was just looking into all the Ark crew members, given rumors that Takara wants to do MP figures of all of them. And I came across something I never knew about before. Hardcore TF fans may know about this, but others like me may not. Apparently there was an Autobot named "Hauler" who showed up in one scene:

Just wanted to share this weird bit of trivia. I never noticed that reference in that scene. I probably just assumed it was Grapple whenever I saw it, and never noticed them calling his name.

Intresting! I knew about the eHobby repaint of Grapple but didn't realise the origins were similar to Sunstorm in that the character had a small appearance in the cartoon.

If Takara makes MP Grapple and Inferno then Hauler would be a good bet for the 3rd use of the mold.

Mitsubishi is a license that's already rumored to have been secured ( for Hound ) so it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

I pre-ordered the Cubex Huffer last night, I may have to get an MP10 trailer for him to pull....I can always use Prime as a doorstop or something.

I went with Chimungmung myself. Bit more expensive but still a lot cheaper than most.

That Malaysian deal sounds too good to be true... I've never heard of the store and I don't really want to deal with the credit card thing either.

On a side note, slag looks amazing. I'm still trying to tell myself that he's worth it at $200. FansToys makes good, sturdy third party TF's. But Quake was what, $160? He had two light up features, and he is iconic to boot.... Idk, I'll think about it.

One of the Fans Toys dudes has said that the reason for the price increase is because Slag has much more to it, I think he mentioned there's something like 150 more parts than QuakeWave and as a result the costs of the molds are more than double what they were for QW.

Grimlock has had some height added to him via a pair of "shoes" that will be included with Slag.
