It looks infinitely better than the Takara MP-11 with all the ugly dull gray plastic. Paintwork on my custom is like a pearl-ish white

I and my kid "play" with my transformers too much. all the lovely paintwwork would be scraped to crap inside a week.

The fact that the Asian sellers are listing them for preorder is the confirmation you are after. That applies to Ultra Magnus too.

The only way those retailers list for preorder is when they receive confirmation from Takara about pricing and estimated release time.

Been a while since I popped in here but I was mooching in Toys R Us today & saw they still had these on shelves & had finally reduced them to a price I was comfortable with so grabbed myself an Acid Storm...




Not sure I'll keep him yet I might just use him for trade fodder further down the line but for now he's a nice new addition

I sold mine. It was really cheap feeling and had a broken tab from the factory.
The robot mode is ok, but the jet mode is just plane. Pardon the pun. I'm not really into the seeker mold to be honest. It's just a boring transformation.

If you have a couple too many drinks over Christmas you'll have to check if the colors look any better with or without alcohol in your system

He was reduced to £50 & I had a £5 off voucher so he cost me £45 in the end
He was £75 originally so not a bad saving really

I found one as well, and I find the green chosen on him fits really well. It was lowered to $49.99.

Oh, and my 2nd version Roddy's right arm broke during transformation. So I'm really, really pissed. They really need to redo this flimsy f@&$er.

Not bad. The money you saved can go towards a custom repaint

Joking aside I didn't mind Universe Acid Storm's colors, it's the blocky camo on the wings of the Masterpiece that makes it look like a Minecraft tribute act.
