It is a good time to be a Transformers fan. Smokescreen given an MP treatment before Bumblebee? What is this madness?!

Very excited about Wheeljack, though. I just hope we get Ratchet, too - I missed out on the iGear release and, like Classics/RTS Bumblebee, his Deluxe figure just didn't do anything for me. Tracks...I could take or leave, but I rather fancy having a full run of the carformers that are being shoved out, so if he materialises I'd probably buy him.

Are there any G1 style non-transforming Megatron figures out there that will scale correctly with MP 10 Optimus? I need a Megatron to square off with Optimus in my display and who knows how long it will take Takara/Hasbro to remake him to fit the new scale. I'm not interest in his gun mode at all.. I just need an accurate robot mode.

Interesting speculation about Tracks, I loved him as a kid so getting an MP versions would be sweet!!!!!

I'm pretty much the same with "announcements" now though I need something concrete before I believe them these days.

If you still want an iGear Ratchet then Kapow Toys have the re-issue with the First Aid version that comes with the alternate Ratchet head.

I would expect a Takara version at some point though if you can wait a bit.

Sorry Royce, I don't know of any...all I can think of is Hegemon, and he's way out of scale.

And damnit, I wish I'd known he was still in on Kapow before I bought some NECA TF2 earlier today! Well, if he's still in stock when I get paid next month, I know what I'm buying. Thanks!

There isn't anything, and no 3rd party with any sense will make a MP scale figure of Megatron because as soon as they announced it Takara would announce the official V2....it's likely that they've got several more characters already designed as 3D models and are just waiting for the right window to get them into production.

If Megatron V2 doesn't happen this year or next year I'll be suprised.

Ironhide and Ratchet should happen eventually. Takara already have an agreement with Nissan so licensing the alt mode will be no problem and they're characters that use mostly the same parts so they can get good value out of the molds.

Tacky looking painted windows aside it's not bad, but with an official, Shogo Hasui designed Masterpiece Bumblebee seemingly on the way it's almost certainly going to become obsolete in a short space of time .

Finally have some good news as TFsource finally fixed my order, so I will finally have my MP Bluestreak and Smokescreen soon!
Feels like I have been waiting forever on those guys.

The headsculpt also has the silly goatee of the Classic sculpt and the grey knees stand out in the wrong way. 18 months ago I would have snapped it up but Takara have changed the game in quite a big way since then.

Congrats on your getting your Nissan order sorted, they'll be worth the wait!

MP Bluestreak is currently my favorite Transformer.

Smokescreen looks a little weird in robot mode at first but the retooling is great and his colors really stand out.

The next big toy show in Japan is next month. I'm guessing we'll get the full reveal of Wheeljack and at least a silouette of Bumblebee then.

Going back to the rumors I mentioned earlier I'd really like Tracks if it happened. I'd even be OK if Takara didn't stick rigidly to the G1 toy or cartoon colors and gave it a paintjob like the Takara version of the Generations mold.

I'm all for any of the Autobot cars and Tracks would be a great addition, but like you mentioned earlier I'm not buying any of the "announcements" until I see the first images.

Also hoping that Ultra Magnus does get made as that will probably open the door for Galvatron. I really wouldn't be interested in that many season 3 characters, but those are two of the few that I would want.

I've always maintained we'll see both Tracks and Galvatron sooner than people think, so I'm inclined to believe this rumour. Whether it's a good source or not, it seems logical to me....

Another alleged "insider" has been starting rumors at TFW about MP Galvatron and MP Tracks being released this year.

I've seen so many of these BS rumors in recent months that my default setting is "show me prototype pics or STFU".

apparently an upset "3rd party TF employee" leaked that info....I bet it's true
