Any idea about a alternative body to expensive HT slim.
I tought about the enterbay RM4 01 not sure.
Thanks for your help.

HT slim is the best option out there if you are looking to replace a Medi body. The RM-4 is cheaper and a good body as well. The Art Figures bodies are quite nice too.

Would the armored body work at all? the hips are kind of wide shaped, but its a good height and compatible (mostly) with HT parts.

I haven't found anything close to the ht slim (the obitsu looks really slim, not sure about the height), but Denny Kim is making suits for a Michael Corleone figure and he said ZCWO has a body that's similar to the ht slim, though I haven't seen it on ebay yet.

For Body, new slim body from ZCWO will be fit as the size is very much similiar to Hottoys Sweeny Todd size.
So when the suit is ready, I will also take the body order specially.

Thanks for the tip about the ZCWO body.
What is the quality of their product usually?
Do they sell bodies or sets only?

The armored body is the one that Sideshow uses for the their clone troopers and Stormtroopers. It was developed with Hot Toys; but its an all black body so it would not work with some applications.

You can get them for around $10 from sites like Toy Anxiety; but buy later versions... the earliest ones were pretty loose.

Hey i forget the name but theres a body called Neo Guy or something like that. But its very thin and about the same size Medi maybe a little taller. Sort of design for anime characters

EDIT- Its made by Volks called 'Neo Go'

Thanks.
Looked for those volks bodies, pretty hard to find.
Probably gonna wait for those ZWCO slim bodies.
Anyone has a picture of the armored next to a TT?

If you're using a Medicom head, it will look too small and sit too high on a Truetype Slim neck. I've tried. Since I can't undo the alteration of my Medi head to accommodate a HT socket, it was good I could get a duplicate figure and leave well enough alone.

I already made the swap once.
Used a slim for a medicom Kaneda.
I disassembled the Slim and replaced the HT neck with the medicom one.
It looked great but the pants couldnt close properly , just a bit too tight.
I changed for a dragon neo 3 body, it was still ok but i really don't like the joints and overall product.

I would like to try to make a custom body, using the torso from the armored sideshow wich is thinner at the waist and arms and legs from slim.
But Slim are hard to come by...

I imagine its only a matter of time before HT rereleases the slim... but the last narrow was $50, so I'm not too excited about buying more of their carded bodies.

besides HT slim, you can try triad's anime body (ie samurai champloo figures) better proportion than the HT for anime characters and should be cheaper if you can find one.
