I'm brand new to collecting, and will be receiving my first statue in October (Captain America: The Winter Soldier Premium Format). I just pre-ordered the Amazing Spider-man Premium Format, however someone pointed out that it will be too big for a Besta.
Currently, the dimensions for the Amazing Spider-man Premium Format are approx. 25.25H x 13W x 10L
Ideally, I'd like my display to have glass doors to avoid dust. Also, while I don't have pets and children, there is a possibility in the future, so I might as well prep for protection from them as well.
However, looking at the dimensions for the Glassvik, the height seems a little too tight for my liking (25.25H)
Now, I was planning on displaying Spider-man on the top shelf lit from the bottom of the shelf with an orange LED, so anyone walking up to the display should be looking up, Captain America sitting on the middle shelf, and The Dark Knight's Batman and Joker (when they come out) on the bottom or on another, separate display case.
I've looked into Legend's Single statue display case, and while I would be open to the idea of displaying them separately, it sadly is also too small.
Are there any cost effective options I haven't seen yet?
P.S. The dimensions for Captain America are approx. 22h x 13W x 17L, if that helps.
Edit: Did some more research, perhaps Billy+Morliden is the best route?
