Amount of wait time before asking seller about your item?

Ok so i bought something from a seller.. I was wondering what would be a reasonable wait time before contacting the seller about if your item as been shipped... I paid for it last Friday, was suppose to go out Monday... I just don't wanna seem like an impatient person when it comes to receiving my item. All help would be appreciated thanks.

What was their listed handling time? I would not worry about being impatient, they should send a tracking number within a few days of payment or a note saying why not.

Definitely agree with this, say you paid on a thursday, id say Monday is the very latest they are allowed to wait, really should be done fri/sat, but yea 3days.

At this time of year especially, I'd expect an item to be shipped at some point during the week. Generally 3-5 business days from payment date is reasonable imo.

I paid on Friday the 5th.... Said would be sent monday the 8th along with tracking number.. Talked to him yesterday and said he would send tracking number still nothing.. It's a private sale...

If someone tells you they're going to give you a tracking number at a specific time, and it doesn't show up, there's something rotten in Denmark. That's the oldest stall tactic in the book. People who treat shipping a package like it's akin to climbing Mt Everest bug the **** out of me.

Yeah I don't know... What does not make any sense is I bought the item around the same time he sold something on ebay, and the guy from ebay already got his item.. I would of thought that my item would of went out the same time as the item he sold on ebay did... He has 100% feedback on ebay, so I don't know what the hell is going on..

If he hasn't shipped it out by now, you need to try to get your money back. It sounds like he's trying to pull a fast one.

anything more than that i will start sending email everyday to get the seller to check the status & get them to chase the postman. and before filling a paypal dispute send a email to them.

I finally got it last week. But very disappointed as he kinda rushed it. Didn't paint the eyes and used Teddy bear fur for the hair.. So now I gotta send the head out to get repainted and rehaired.
