Here are a few shots of some of the back drops and figures and stuff I've been playing with.

Your basic dungeon environment.

Spike vs Nikki Wood on the subway car (No graffiti or posters yet)

Clem and Spike hanging out in Spikes crypt.

And Buffy with her Troll hammer.

That looks cool!

I've been thinking of making a custom background/surrounding for my Freddy Krueger PF, but I don't have the room nor the material/skills to do it hehe.

Well done, keep up the good work! :chew

I'm having a hard time getting the bricks to look like the SSC version, but I'm trying a new technique. Roughing up the sculpy and then smoothing it.

Nice work Andy! LOVE the environments. Wish I had the time or skills to do that myself. Really does make the collection pop. You should make little stop motion movies, I know I would!

Thanks everyone.
Les, I'm going to take some better shots of Clem, I was in a rush to get these processed, so they didn't come out as well as I wanted.
Josh I was thinking of something like that, but after I get my digital camera. Right now I'm still in the stone age.
I try and make a background that can house as many characters as possible so they aren't so scene specific. I've done a few Star Wars ones, but for some reason they always give me one little problem that messes everything up. Still working on 'em though.
I'm also trying make a cheaper version of Jabba's throne for the poor souls who missed it.

I for one love your old film looking stills! :rock Especially in the Zombie challenge shots. Makes em look like old drive-in movie frames. Cool effect! Even if unintentional. Remember it for future reference...

Thats actually just my scanner thats inside my printer. I noticed it had that effect a few months back and I generally use my flat scanner that works with my old computer and transfer them over, but I did want those scratchy lines for the zombie shots, to kind of blend in with the grainy SSC videos.

clem is awesome!!!! hehehe. that is the first clem custom i have seen! and I have seen a lot of customs.
very well done!

Santa was kind enough to bring me a digital camera and while I'm still clumsy at the actual photographing my stuff, at least the quality is better.

Looking awesome Andy. I really like the weathering and stuff. Also, very clean lines on the cuts. You are much more patient than me!

Great looking dioramas. I love a good display setting for figures and what you got going on is top notch stuff. :rock

I was just browsing through the Custom Gallery and ran into this thread. Awesome detail in your work. I look forward to seeing more.
