A member of this community has scammed someone for thousands of dollar....
Giving asian people a bad name, again.This guy is a member here and some of his friends seems involved in using a fishy ebay name too...be extremely carefull when dealing with this guy....I pass this information from the Statue Forum to inform everyone here.

you're probably new to those forums, so i'll let this pass by, and give you a chance,i'll even explain it to you.....many threads have been made in the past here and at SF, about the Pinos community and some recasters in China hurting this hobby..of course, they were just some isolated cases,but people on the forums were quick to jump to conclusion and put everyone in the same boat....Read the pinos statue forums, these guy are trying hard to have their image cleared, because of a couple rotten apples.They dont need another idiot scamming people all over the forums and ebay.

Reading that forum the guy was a noob and got scammed through nievity

2 things to stop this happening to you


1. Always pay by paypal (which will become mandatory soon anyway)
2. Start a claim within the timeframe (no excuses, reasons why, no matter how legitimate they seem, no matter how great a deal for the item it seems, if it hasnt arrived within 45 days of paying make a claim)

Do that and you should have no problems dealing on the bay

Afterall these scammer fish for the noobs, no skin of their nose if you make a claim you just jumped out the net, its the ones that dont claim that they are after as they just got free money, I got blasted for making a claim on a preorder, they listed an item they couldnt deliver within 45 days, I claimed, I got blasted, I know now not to use ebay for pre-orders, but id sooner get blasted in a post than blasted in my wallet.

I agree that bring up something that happened 2 years ago is kind of strange, but maybe the guy just discovered that board recently.

Also I'll take Nash's word over the other guy's any day. Nash has been a long standing member of this board with great feedback in the trade section.

Well, this guy has asked for help..Maybe you dont feel very part of this community, but you would help if you had a sentiment of appartenance here. You would not ridiculise this.Well maybe cause your friend Tendou is involved in this you feel the need to laugh at this thread and the guy who got scammed.

First of all it appears to be getting resolved over on the other forum, or trying to be resolved. The actual accused person has been on there and seems to be trying to have his say.

Also like other past grievances on this board this thread will deteriorate into name calling and racist remarks and perhaps the revealing of personal information and even threats of violence.

Also this thread should be moved to off topic as it has no relevance to this section of the forum. I thought this was General Collectibles.
