considering the lack of accessories and horrid paint job,

do you guys think the rah young Indy figure will drop in price any time soon? Cause I'm only interested in the headsculpt, but don't know anyone that can cast the head for me, nor is the head available on ebay :(

cheers guys!

Would make some sense if it did in the U.S., anyway (apparently the RAH figures are extremely popular in Japan, despite their flaws). Supply and demand and whatnot. . .though I don't know how many of these were made.

I would say its very likely... don't think he was gonna be a huge success to begin with, but the final product is even worse than expected.

Even the nice Medicom figures based on licenses like SW and Indy seem to tank in price.

That's because despite how nice they are, they aren't $180 nice! :lol

lol definatly not 180$ nice. God that Joker of theirs is aweful too! XD Probably their worsed yet :p
Makes me hate Japanese people for supporting their crap at 180$ -.-

ah well... my custom can wait..

Expect a massive, brutal price drop on this figure in the next three months or so.

Fqrizzo is getting my hopes up!

There will be... I bought three Medi Indy products (Mutt, KOTCS Indy, Jones Sr.) and all for $100 each (approx)... Wait and they'll drop in price-- especially from other on-line retailers more from SSC directly.

While ordering from the Canuck connection is still cheaper than MSRP, it's still to much for this. If StarWarsShop.com is carrying him and drops the price, I'll bite. Might also toy with picking him up using my T2 GC if he becomes available. Almost did that with Henry Sr., but Sideshow came to the rescue with that one. :lol

Yeah, all I need the bloody thing for is for a custom Link figure! Ever noticed how much River Phoenix looks like him?

but ffs I aint spending 150 dollars if all I'm going to use is the headsculpt! :p

I had no interest in the figure even when the proto looked great, but seeing how it turned out was pretty painful.

BBTS.com has the RAH Indy, Henry Jones and Mutt Williams for 99.00 on clearance. I would imagine, with a little patience, you'll see Young Indy hit that price soon, as well.

With Sideshow releasing all of the aforementioned sale figs, that's still too much $$$. :lol

The production figure was such a disappointment, especially compared to the proto,
I'm not sure if I would even buy it for half price.
It's a shame, a figure of River Phoenix should have been made with more care
