I'm looking for more infos on clockwork orange RAH and warhol. Seems like member here arent too fond bout medicom's fig as of recent.:monkey3

Not so much that, it's just that medi has seemed a little stagnant of late. thit bodies are brittle, and that should be adressed. Not to mention, that while, their prices, HT prices, and sideshow prices are on the rise, unlike sideshow and HT, they don;t seem to be taking steps to iprove their overall figure quality.

BASICLY, we're irked that Medi is seeming to be getting lazy.

Just tried searching but couldnt find any infos on clockwork orange alex and andy warhol.

Anyone could shed some lights on those 2 figs? Current market price, release date etc?

Pretty sure Medicom never made an Alex. There were a three versions, I think. Last time I looked on ebay there were two, around $700 and $800 respectively. They were made by the same company that did the original 'The Screaming' figure, that was just as rare, till Subway brought out their vastly improved version. Low profile companies, doing small runs of unobtainable licenses.

Haven't seen an Andy Warhol in ages.

Good luck with your searching.

That mob have a bad name for ridiculously high prices, and go under a few different ebay names. I wouldn't deal with them myself, but that needn't stop you. That particular version is the third one, and least resembles Mcdowell, though it does have the most accessories. You'd likely have to replace the base body as well.

Here's a pic of the first two versions.

True, a predator 1 for $280, dutch $260 or something:duh

What kind of body do they use? So its not medicom then?

Or are you talkin bout the CRM Toys issued alex?
Yeah, that's the name of the company. As far as I know they are the only ones to make this figure. The 'third' version may have been made by someone else, I'm not positive on that. It's not a Medicom body, it's some cheap unbranded job. I wouldn't pay that much for one. I'd rather wait an see, and hope someone like Subway do a nice version at a nicer price, and hopefully sometime soon.

I just did some browsing and found out that they are a Japanese underground company. That only do 100 pieces of these. I doubt that this one is made by CRM, as the price tag arent that high.

Actually, I think this one looks more superior that the CRM issued ones, IMO. But yeah, I'd prolly get it if it were produced by medicom.

Lazy? perhaps with licenses that interests americans/westerner. Their japan/asian focused lines are still going strong and their anime based figures are getting better and better. Its no secret that medicom makes way more figures than SSC imports, and we really missed out on a lot of gems that medicom makes.

Yep the 3rd I've heard as being made by Mac & Co... although I think the only people to sell it were "Art Of Toy". Best accessories, but the sculpt looks terrible.'

CRM is the best looking overall and I've seen a repaint that was really nice.

The two CRM Alex's look like they have diff head sculpts- the first version looks better, (the color box one) Does it? It's hard to tell

That one looks like a porn actor, with his chiseled face and tan. The accessories look great though.

I really like the head on the CRM figure. It has a kind of nice cartoon quality. I've long wanted it. The price though, yes, is horrible - $500 - 600 for the set. I have a hunch too that one wouldn't need to be so skilled a sculptor to make a head of similar quality/style. It seems like if you had just an elementary understanding you could pull off something similar.
