I want to make a 1/6 scale MOS type "S" that I would paint in a different color (or print in different colors). I planned to make alternate history Supermen.

It sounds like he wants to replicate the symbol on the MoS chest for a few customs. I would say find someone to make a mold of the symbol and then just make casts out of it.
