I remember e-mailing F4F after the gravity suit Samus was announced asking them if every Samus statue they planned on putting out was going to be a repaint. They assured me that this wasn't the case but almost 2 years later and 3 statues, we have no new pose in site.

anyways, I received mine yesterday, didnt have time to take pictures, its a nice piece, but not 190 euros nice. So I personally would try to get it for cheaper if you can!
the LED lights looks awesome in the dark though, in daylight, I actually prefer the light off!

Yeah, one of the things that turned me off about this statue was the pose. I'd like a standard museum-style pose of Samus with a little bit of motion in it.

Actually MooMoo, I think the pose looks great! Mainly because it's a standard Samus pose.. It's supposed to be Samus after all.. Although I do agree that I will never ever be interested in the other versions of this, because of the same pose. It's a shame because I really dig the red Varia suit version as well. Oh well..

lol hilariously enough they also did this with Link, green tunic, but NOW also the red and blue ones.............. IN THE SAME ******* POSE.

although I do own the Link in green, and it's a stellar statue. great pose, although it doesnt look that great in the pictures, the pose really brings up this nostalgic feeling.
If I were to chose a favorite between this and Link, I'd have to go for Link though, simply because of the more interesting pose, base, and overall detailwork (Love the added map and dungeonkey) whereas Samus is basically black, with lights, and a smooth stand. Great as well, but Link just adds a little more "wow"

They are killing me with all these repaints. I want a Twilight Princess and Wind Waker Link statue. I'd really like a dar and Light suit stature of Samus, as well as a the PED suit from prime 3. All different poses mind you.

From what I've read at least the Dark and Light suit are planned, as well as twilight Link I think, but he'll probably be in 1/4th to fit in with the recently announced Zant (which is awesome but not 300 + $ awesome.)

guess dark and light suit samus would have to be different sculpts, there's no option for a repaint.. hence the repaint Varia suits first?

I dont expect a Wind Waker Link any time soon though... *sob* and Twlight Link would most likely also be 300+ $ :'(
