Johhny Quest was awesome. Watched it every Sunday morning on USA Cartoon Express with Herculoids, Thundarr the Barbarian and Space Ghost.

I had a VHS tape of Johnny Quest when I was little... It contained 2 adventures; one took place in a stretch of sea full of seaweed, and the other was a mummy adventure. (Which BTW I swear was used as the plot of somekind of Young Indiana Jones film/episode... )

I love the original show... I think the intro music has to be some of the best of all time

And gotta respect a show that could spawn/inspire a series as awesome as The Venture Brothers

I was a fan of the vintage version. I did not care for the newer ones. But I am surprised to ralize how long ago even the newer ones aired.

I would be happy to see new episodes made of the original cartoon, though.

i had netflixed the original series about 6 months ago.............man those were awesome cartoons.............my wife just looked at me like i was crazy but i didnt care.......it was johnny ____ing quest..........

Me too. It's my favorite Hanna-Barbera cartoon. I was hunting down the figures for a bit when I realized someone had made them, but it was too hard to score Zandor & Zok so I didn't bother.

So you mean it was a custom? Did any company make them? I'd kill for a Tundro.

Nope, not customs. Toynami made three sets. Zandor and Zok. Tara, Igoo and Gloop. Dorno, Tundro and Gleep.

that is a saved search on my ebay & they pop up all the time.......they go for crazy money. but dammit i will own these all one day. just saw an auction end for all 3 sets at $300..........

good luck.........you can readily find the tara set & dorno set from $75-$100..............but zandor not so much, he seems to be the rarest & priciest.

LMAO! I have these three sets. Just found them in the basement. I didn't realize they were made by Toynami. I thought you guys were talking about better quality ones instead of these toys.
