Anyone else into pinnies? Just got into them a few months ago. So far i've got Judge Dredd (Bally) and Last Action Hero (Data East). I plan on getting Indiana Jones in the near future, and maybe Twilight Zone. What about you guys?

my great great grand father use to collect them.

Man, I've always wanted that Dredd pinball machine for my home, but I remember it going for a good $10,000 back in the day. Do you mind if I ask how much it cost you?

Ive always wanted to get the Black Knight, and the Terminator pinball machines. I remember Black Knight was the first one I had ever seen that had multi-ball.
We used to play it for hours at the local Pop Shop, I used to cut lawns when I was a kid for cash just so I could spend it in the arcade.
There isnt any big arcades here in Windsor anymore, the closest thing is Dave & Busters over in Detroit, but it doesnt even have 1 pinball machine, not one! :monkey2

If I had room I would. I love playing pinball and those machines are so full of character. It'd be cool to have a gameroom full of them.

I always wanted a pinball machine but haven't been able to afford any of the ones I want. The one I've always wanted was either The Back to the Future one or the Star Wars Trilogy version.

Hey dude,

I found mine on Ebay, and I messaged the guy asking if he could drop it off to me. He agreed and drove more than an hour to deliver this thing to me. It cost me $2500AUD which is roughly $1600USD. Machines are going fairly cheap these days, exceptions being some of the older/more classic ones.

^^^wow that's a great price. i always thought they went for several thousands of dollars. i'd like to get an Indiana Jones, Batman, and/or Star Wars pinball machine. anyone know where i can find a website with pictures of some of these??

www.ipdb.org

The most detailed information and reviews you can find about pinny machines, also has pictures of each machine in detail.

And look, when I was younger I thought these things were way out of my price range, but they're worth every cent once you buy one.

thanks for that info man. you're right these things aren't that far out of reach. and i think i really like the Star Wars and Indiana Jones machines.

Jessie Wilson collects them, but I haven't seen him on here for awhile.

I had an antique Bally Bazaar that I really got some use out of in college, but sold it when I bought a home and it just took up to much space. I wouldn't mine owning a newer one though.

The Bally Bazaar was old school, no LED's, no transistors. high score = 9999 before it rolled. I think mine was up to 83xx something, which no one beat while I owned it.

I've been playing the pinnies on the laptop with the roms from ipdb ..some really nice tables around the net to use with them. Black Knight was funny, when it clocks the table tilts and around 30 balls keep coming out and the knight laughs non stop.

Here is the one I had growing up. We had to sell it when we moved when I was in Jr. High :( wish I still had it.
