So the cars at my home have been targeted by lousy douche bags with eggs. First incident Halloween night, then last Sunday night. I'm really hoping they are stupid enough for a three peat, but does any one have a good recommendation for a night camera that could at least catch a license plate? As much as I would love to deliver a sound beating, I have better things to do than perform an all night steak out. Any suggestions appreciated. There's nothing that would make me happier to see the faces of those jerk offs when they see thereselves on tape, not to mention a brand new paint job on my car, who is the real victim in this ordeal. She never hurt anybody :monkey2

are you even capable of giving a "sound beating"?

In my teen years, my house was targeted 2 consecutive weekends. Some friends and I performed an all night stakeout on the third. What happened after the bastards showed up to find us waiting in the bushes was one of the most satisfying experiences of my life.

As for surveillance cameras, those things can get real expensive for good ones. Hopefully somebody can recommend a good one that doesn't cost a whole lot. For software, I use (and recommend) Security Spy: https://www.bensoftware.com/ss/

Not expensive and has a lot of great features.

You can buy a baby monitor with night vision for $100-150. They are pretty small, so you can probably hide one where it would be hard to see. You could hook the video monitor up to a recording device.

Mmm. . .delicious steak outs. . .
