LED's are simple, you need an LED, and a resistor--the resistor is to restrict the amount of power going to the LED, on some LED's the power from a battery will be too much and it'll burn out. I got some LED's from Hobbytown that were meant for an airplane and they already had a resistor attached to the LED, so then you would just need a something to connect the battery and a switch
