Anyone know of any good recent Horror movies?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but it seems both threads are horror statue/fig related, feel free to move otherwise mods

I was wondering if anyone can recommend any good recent horror movies that have come out lately? Ive seen all the "original classics" and all the newer bigger ones (paranormal trilogy, etc.) But is there any good ones that are mabes under the radar like after dark films? I just saw a trailer for John Carpenters The Ward and it got me thinking that the last good horror movie Ive seen was Jeepers Creepers and that was wayy back in the day. You guys know of any good ones worth watching?

Well if recent means newer than Jeepers Creepers, I would suggest Hatchet, Drag Me to Hell, Let the Right One In, and High Tension (though some don't care for this one because of the ending). I also highly recommend Frailty to anyone who hasn't seen it. One of my favorite all time horror movies that kind of flew in under the radar and stayed there.

Hatchet to me was pretty bad though, i couldn't stand it, i hated that movie

You've gotta be in the right mood, and be able to appreciate it for what it is. It isn't fine art, but it is very over the top brutal. Which was kind of refreshing to see when it first came out IMO.

Yea seen all those, more kinda underground stuff I guess, but frailty is an AMAZING movie and one that I cant even begin to explain how underrated it is!
