Hey, I'm looking to customize a few things and I've been trying to find CY Girl bodies or any 1/6 figure bodies but generic that I could swap heads with, but eBay has slim offerings and some of what they have don't include hands or feet which is useless, any suggestions for places to look would be appreciated.

BBi is releasing two new Perfect Body generic figures in a few weeks at the old sensible retail price of $15, so ignore all eBay auctions for Cy Girls. (You can pre-order a $15 Perfect Body on eBay for $25 already...they prey upon the unknowing.)

Your other bets for female figures are Triad Toys and Old Joe Infirmary. Triad sells a female body from Soldiers Story and will soon release its own EVA-1. OJI has its own FemBasix line and will stock the new Perfect Bodies, though they've stopped taking pre-orders orders on the PBs for now.

For everything other than female figures, here are some starters:

Battle Rhino
Cotswald Collectibles
EchoBase
4-Leaf
Monkey Depot
One Sixth Depot
Good Stuff to Go
War Toys

Whenever you stumble across a customizer's page, be sure to check the Links listing. It's a great way to find parts vendors.

I've done very well with One Sixth Depot. Bear Johnson (I like his name) keeps on top of things, ships promptly, and rewards repeat customers with a discount program.

Thanks Gruff, it's nice to have options, I've seen the CY Perfect Body around, but the breasts are too large for what I'm looking to do, but the Triad body looks pretty good.

Although they're not all that much smaller for what you'd like, the first Perfect Bodies had an interchangeable bust with a second size option. Some like the Perfect Dark versions had much smaller breasts. I'm not sure if the new Perfect Body figures will keep this feature or not.

You may want to check out the new PBs. They've gone a different way with the second chestplate -- instead of larger, it's smaller -- much smaller. The Soldier's Story figure is a little larger than the new "small plate" PB, but is also realistically proportioned. It's $13 at Triad, by the way. All Cy Girls, PBs, and Soldiers Story bodies are small compared to Sideshow. The Triad EVA-1 will also be "Cy Girl" scale.

Well to shed light on things, I'm planning a custom Slave Leia after consulting CustomMikey about his, I have a feeling it'll be some time before SSC generates one, but I feel it'd be the perfect way to complete the Jabba throne display, but the Hasbro body can't pose properly and SSC Jabba is so amazing, I don't want to taint a great display with an awkwardly posed figure.

Thanks again Gruff, I just ordered the S1 Female body from Triad, I think it should work out good for my plans.

I think the Triad body would work best for that. I'd love to make one too.

Nice, I'll have to check Traid's website and MWD forum for pics.

nyone know of a place still taking preorders for the BBI PBs?
Good stuff to go has both in the preorder section.
I just looked at the pics over on MWD, yes the new second bust is a small A cup. Much better then the small D-cup and large D-cup from the first release. I'll have to buy a couple eventually.

Can you share the links to those sites?

Good Stuff to Go was on the list I posted. It has rather steep shipping charges. Check the rest of the list out!
Cotswald, Echobase, 4-Leaf, One Sixth Depot, and Goodstuff have these available, the others don't I checked.
The shipping charges aren't steep for me, I live nearby. :joy

It looks like it should time out that the Hasbro Leia I won on eBay should get to me around the same time as the Triad body I ordered, very anxious to get these and try this, my Jabba is just begging for his girly :)

I'm going to wait till Triad releases the new body, then modify the SS Leia head to make a new Slave Leia.

I would wait, but I don't even have a Leia up to your par, so for $13 this is a fine start for me and then I'll upgrade to the new one later cut it looks fantastic.

Bear is great. Highly recommend. He also carries stuff by Intents Trading Company (Ed Cassar) and Auret - great custom 1/6th weaponry. One Sixth Depot is always my first stop for parts as his international shipping is very good, particularly compared to some others.
