It probably had excess gas. A few weeks ago, I was really struggling to open a 2 liter Pepsi bottle. But, when I finally got the cork to twist a little, I heard a loud cracking noise. The plastic around the cork literally cracked and was spewing out gas. The funny thing is, the Pepsi wasn't bubbling out or anything...
