Yeah considering that only 300 were made of the exclusive and it's such a badass piece it's worth it. Unfortunately I want to get one but there hasn't been one up for auction here in the US and no damn way will I pay more than $500 on customs fees.

Shipping on the box from the USA alone will be around $800 US these days and the last auction I followed in the USA the statue went for $2200 or so. It will be interesting to see what it ends up at, I didn't think it would hit 2 grand...
Still I am glad I have my EX - to think I dreaded paying around $1400 Australian for it from Sideshow back in the day!

how so? Predators has nothing to do with the original except for the fact that RR stole all the ideas from the first one . I never thought i would ever see one go past 2k again. I payed like $1850 shipped for mine, but that was before the CM piece even came out. I think it will always stay within that 1500-2k range though.

There was an Exc. in Canada for $1500 and that took FOREVER to sell on the bay about 6 months ago.

Predator is so HOT right now, don't ask me why, but everything Predator is above and beyond expensive. I would also expect the maquette to go back down once interest starts to change to the next big thing.

I have experienced this first hand....remember when Alien Warrior 1:1 were selling for $4200-4600...not quite the same now is it?

This piece will return to between 1300-1500 Exc., $1000-1200 for Reg. eventually...tust me....
That's not to say it won't rise again, but I don't see it staying above $2000 forever.

for this piece, i wouldnt say its overpaying at all. if its the HT 1/6 figure, then i would agree, but this thing is a work of art, you cant put a price on that except for what someone is willing to pay.

bs, like ID said, everything except the cannon is. Its a laser scan from exactly what was used for the film.

It's definitely one of the best. I'm especially happy since SilentSurfer fixed the broken mandible on mine. It looks as good as new. Now if I could only get the Alien 3 Maquette.

not even a over seas auction or an Ex auction . Makes me think I could get 3k for my Ex . I think last year, you could still get the reg for retail.
