Are any of the admins alive at Statue Forum?

I've tried to register for that site 3 times so far over the last couple of months and every time my registration just drops off. I browsed through their rules and found a tidbit about not accepting gmail, yahoo, hotmail email accounts which is silly. I only use gmail and have been for the last 6 years and will only continue to do so because I got tired of changing my email address every time I had to switch a phone or cable provider.

I tried contacting admin but no response. Anyone else have similar issues?

NeoGaf is the same. Won't let you join with any of them email accounts. What would the reason for that be?

Because spam can easily create new email accounts at those sites and then spam the board.
