By the way, he asked to mention that he hates to sculpt digital hair, so none of the hairs is done, and he will leave it for the very end.

This one I have just began, and I will still improve it a lot. There is only one thing I've settled for this piece, that cup on the pedestal will be filled with blood!!

My feelings tells me to go crazy and give a her a huge diorama, but then I think of the costs, boxes, and I keep holding my imagination back and trying to figure out what could look cool in a smaller size. It is not easy, I can tell you!

I am undecided if I will leave her knife on the pedestal or in her hands, but I’ll probably make her a scepter and leave the knife on the pedestal. I’m also refining the face right now. It’s difficult to show the teeth and still make a sexy mouth. Also I'm reducing the maxilla and mandibles size and refining the face. In other words, she will have a smaller and more delicate jaw!

Wow, that is a great start. I had been looking for the other version, but will wait for this one.

Love the dio bases so please go crazy. Knife looks good on the pedestal, or her hand. In her hand it looks like she just used it to fill her cup and would look good bloody and dripping. Scepter, open hand beckoning, or the cup of blood with possibly a bit overflowing would look cool too with the bloody knife on the pedestal.

Love the bats and bat themed ornamentation she is wearing, was thinking her chest plate could incorporate that somehow too.

BTW, thanks for sharing so early, I wish SS did that and let fans see the process and throw ideas around.

I love it. I've seen the update with the lifted arm; coming along nicely. Just a couple thoughts, a removable chest plate to allow for a more modest look when on and more seductive look when removed. Very much in the same fashion as the first version. Secondly, keep her as a clean, blood free version. Although she is suppose to be a vampire, I'm not much of a fan of the blood on the body.

Could her eyelashes be sculpted, kind of like the Queen of the Dead, so that when they are painted they look more realistic, rather than having to paint them on the actual face? Otherwise, piece is looking very impressive so far.

I finished the dio, and I have raised her arm to give her a more regal look. I also refined the jaw line a bit and added a scepter.

Those tweaks were big improvements IMO. Do you think it would be possible to go even a little further with the jawline? It still strikes me as a bit too square.

I'm loving the bats though. Are those going to be on the real statue?

I sure hope so, they were only on the EX of the last one which was a shame for those who missed out(or did not like the blood everywhere)

I like everything but the pasties. I think a different (removable) covering would tie it together better.

I like the idea of a cloak, you can always make it optional for those who don't want it like the Red Sonja one.

I think the jaw is fine the way it is if you maybe refine the cheekbones. I really love the way Angelina Jolie looks in Maleficent with the cheeks giving a more skinny look, symbolic in a way that makes it seem that nothing can ever truly fill a Queen. I don't know, it might just be me. (I also am not affiliated to Disney, credit to them)



I know some people are not about gore (me included), but I think a piece of her showering in blood would be absolutely insane. Makes me think of the scene in Hostel where the woman bathes in the virgin's blood. I probably would buy it then.
