Art Funk Props - Captain America Shield

Alright, so i've been on the lookout for a cool Cap shield and I think I MIGHT have found it. I haven't bought it yet but for the price, it seems pretty awesome. I found it on Etsy and these guys also have a blogspot site as well as their own facebook page and they seem pretty legit. They're like $400 minus shipping and that sounds like a pretty damn good price, tbh.

Thing is, I do have the money to buy an EFX version, but if I can get something cheaper that looks pretty damn good, then why not? But i'm still making a decision.

They have the shields is several different finishes like Classic, Stealth, "WS" Battle Damaged, Battle Damaged and unpainted. I'll post some pics and I wonder what you all think of them.

I have one that was painted by GeneralFrosty. Can't go wrong with one of AF's shields. I think he only offers them painted now.

Oh cool so you have one? How's the build quality on it? And it's the same diameter as the EFX isn't it? And I was maybe wondering if you could post some pics of yours though you had it painted by another dude. That'd be awesome, man.

That's what I want as well! Their etsy site seems to have quite a few of the classic FA/WS shield sold. I just kinda wish we got some pics/reviews from the people who did buy it. I'm seriously considering getting this though.

That's a 1st or 2nd run Chris Fields. Dont know how many different runs he produced.

Thanks. I got in on one of his earlier runs when he was offering unpainted kits and had it sent it off to Artisan FX for painting.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of Art Funk's paint-ups, but I do love their AOU one. Pretty damn close to the prop and the eFX pics.

I do plan to get another.
