Art prints as exclusives, Yae or nay?

Just wondering what the general consensus was on this matter? Does anyone actually display the art pieces with it's companion? It seems SS is going down this path more and more as illustrated by the 2 latest pieces to be offered both have art prints for exclusives (Lara and Jason)

Can anyone share pics?

I'm not a fan of art prints as exclusives, although I did like the replica blueprints that came with the Jaws exclusive maquette. But I'd much prefer an additional head, accessory or limb to give me more display options.

I don't mind the idea, but it's not a deal breaker for me. If I like the print, I buy the ex. If not, then I'll buy the regular edition and save the extra cash. I'd rather have the print in some cases over an extra part, but again that would depend on the part. Greedo I would rather have had an extra hand or vest instead of the print, but if the print was a decent rendition of Greedo, I might prefer that.

They work for pin up style statues like the AH line, but nothing else.

I don't mind them being the exclusives. If I like the print I'd go for the exclusive and if not then I'd save the money and get it from one of thier retailers.

I guess one of the reasons I don't mind it being the exclusive is most of the time I'm not too upset if I do miss out on it.

I wouldn't mind to get for example a blueprint of a Stormtrooper blaster when getting a Stormtrooper, or a X-Wing blueprint if SS ever makes a Luke pilot, a map of Jabba's Palace, a blueprint of the Death Star with Tarkin, blueprint of AT-AT with future General Veers/Snowtrooper etc.

yeah so far the Adam Hughes line and certain Marvel pieces have come with prints, but Jason??

It really depends on the license involved. Some work, some don't.

yeah... some of them are cool.. but thery definately aren't needed.
