I don't think you missed out on DMC3 Dante. Asmus took down his product page, but if he had sold out, he would've been listed as such (like Virgil). And since there are zero in-hand pics, I think it's safe to say that he was never released. I talked with BBTS and they are unsure of why DMC3 Dante seems to have been cancelled. My guess is that Asmus is redoing the head sculpt and/or upper body, and instead of updating the old photos, Asmus intends to launch an entirely new rollout for the figure.
The figure looks great, but I wish the shorts were purple, which would be more accurate.

They still have my money for DMC3 Dante. So I'm hoping it's being reworked and not canceled Haha.
Haha Did you order directly form Asmus? If so, and if you have time, would you be cool with emailing them about the change in product availability? Curious for more info. Either way, thx!

I emailed them back when the site changed back in March. At the time they said that the order was still good and will be processed once it's in stock. It sounds like they're just tweaking it.

I wasnt really digging the headsculpt so that's good, also dmc3 dante outfit isnt my fav, so here's wishing!

You sure about that? The actual Dante thread has complaints of him never going up for preorder. That was in March, right before the site upgrade. Nero went up for preorder the same time.

Speaking of Nero, err nevermind my mind was set on Virgil, I just checked evil bay and nabbed him shipped near cost. There's another there but his box is merfed... now I'm even more hyped for Lady and Dante! Ohhh and NERO!!

Pretty sure. I remember because I thought it was weird that Nero had a link on the BBTS homepage when he went up, but DMC3 Dante had zero fanfare, despite DMC3 Dante's being listed when you searched BBTS for "Devil May Cry." I even remember seeing his image icon listed beside the product name under the search results. That's why I was so surprised when I read DrunknIronRabit's earlier post about "missing out" on Dante. I checked BBTS as soon as I read that, saw that he wasn't there anymore, and immediately called BBTS CS to figure out what had happened. I do, however, trust my fellow freaks, as well as BBTS CS (who said it wasn't impossible, but that they didn't have much info to go on), so despite my confidence, I must be trippin'. Lol
Congrats! Virgil IS Devil May Cry for me, so I'm really happy for another fan to have scored.

Damn, I had no idea Vergil sold out that quickly. He is an amazing figure though. The whole DMC line has been pretty amazing. Really outshines their original attempts. Though I would like to own them just to own them.

Unfortunately, my Virgil is in his box in a stack of other boxes in the garage because space is an issue in my current place. : (
I'm sure Asmus will take another shot at DMC4 Nero, just like they did with DMC4 Dante. I, too, like that hairstyle and organic arm more, even though I think DMC5 Nero has cooler clothes. My most anticipated figure in the line, though, is definitely V. If they do as good a job on V's head sculpt as they did with Lady's, then I'll be over the moon.
And I'd be whatever's beyond that if we eventually got...
