Can't believe I sat on the fence re this figure, but there it is $$$$$
My LUVFEST for Asmus continues - the sculpt is exquisite in hand. Wasn't sure from pics but ASMUS nailed it IMO. Love the creamy skin tone they used; they even blushed her feet a bit. Amazing attention to detail. The gown is beautifully done.

(And meanwhile I'm seriously considering just ordering ASMUS figs from ASMUS, as their much appreciated stellar packing has shown up fast; and I am still waiting to hear from SSC about my Crown Gandalf!)

I like her so much I wouldn't mind having a second one; as doubt anything like this will be made again. I have a few nits but for the price point, just a great purchase. Since I am slowly packing for a move, I think I will keep her in the cloak; it will help protect the hair and I am not an LOTR purist on the shelves, most of the time. (Looks like a single stitch holds the cloak together, probably could be cut and a hook/eye fastener or something could be stitched in if you know someone who could handle delicate fabric and not lose the leaf "pin". I just took the head off tho to put the cloak on.)

Thank you for this labor of love ASMUS. And I KNOW you will come through with that Thranduil on throne in his berry crown

Thank you Obi and Baggins! A shame it was a cloudy day - but anyway she really is lovely. Even the hands with the delicate fingernails. IMO ASMUS did outstanding and with the shipping too. Even down to the details of the elven ring Nenya.

She does seem to be on the petite side, but I plan to put her on some kind of riser to the back of the shelf, I think the cloak will drape nicely that way; and with the white she will make a statement . I quite like her accessories; for me the mirror was an absolute must and it's beautifully done along with basin. Only Phicen and ASMUS seem to do nice bases and dioramas. Well, I guess Lucifer company does, as well, but IMO their elves are over-the-top with platform shoes and no-one living in the woods would dress like that.

Did you paint the crown? All the ones I found have flat gold paint.

It really is a shame Asmus didn’t make her crown. This is an amazing figure on its own, but it improves exponentially with a crown.
