Are there any tutorials about sewing proper 1/6 clothing?
How to make sure they fit, what sequence is best to sew which article first, any place to get patterns?
I have been dissecting various pants, shirts etc and attempting to copy them with limited success.

Any help would be wonderful and I'm sure others have attempted this as well.

I'd love to see a pool of patterns start developing that anyone could download and use. I'm pretty good with a sewing machine, but developing the pattern is the toughest part.

Maybe we should reach out to Kevin Ellis and ask if a pool exists anywhere. I can get a stitch in a straight line but I'm finding the clothes don't hang the same as they do when you buy a figure.

If you want/need more detailed assembly instructions, look out for sales on patterns at Jo-Ann fabrics. There are several patterns (from Simplicity, Butterick, etc.) designed for historical re-enactors or for Halloween costumes. (These patterns are listed in the "Crafts" section of the catalogs for each company. The catalogs usually are on a table near where the patterns are stored.) During a sale you can buy a pattern for $1.99, etc., and get clear directions on how to assemble the cryptic pieces in the historical pattern books. Doll patterns also offer ideas for modifications to patterns and instructions. For example, use the instructions in the doll patterns when you attach sleeves at 1:6 scale unless you really enjoy insanity and pain.
