Honestly the only way I got the thigh panels off was to take a tiny screwdriver and insert it under the knee cap region at the bottom and slide it up to give it some leverage so nothing breaks. It popped off for me with just a bit of toggling up and down to loosen it. The problem with this design is it has the two hold pegs near the bottom, so trying to pull it from the side or at the top is just begging for something to snap, because they are in there snug. My apologies for not getting pics tonight. I had allot of running. I'll be sure to get them in tomorrow. The other thing is both sides take three batteries a piece and only turn on ONE small light at the thighs on either side. Was not worth the effort at all.The batteries are a pain in the butt for sure. While I currently have the clean mk85, I’m guessing the battery placement is the same on this one. I didn’t even bother with the ones that go into the legs. The panels didn’t want to budge and since I bought it on eBay there was no way I was going to get a replacement if I ended up breaking it. Just didn’t seem worth it but it did damper the experience some
